About us
The Bureau of Transport Statistics (BTS) operates as an independent entity within Transport for NSW to monitor and forecast transport system usage and performance.
The Bureau is dedicated to providing relevant, accurate, accessible and credible transport data and forecasts to government, business and the community to support the development of transport policy, planning, infrastructure and services.
We have a wide range of transport information, much of it freely available from this website. If you require further assistance, please contact our Client Services team on (02) 8202 2702.
